It is a teaching guide as well as a reference book to work with the chakras for energy and healing. The book explains what chakras are, how to tell if they are malfunctioning, how to balance and cleanse them, how to protect yourself while working with them. There are exercises, meditations, breathing instructions, and mantras. Each of the seven major chakras are explained in detail, including yoga poses.
