Pieces of bark or stone with letters from the Celtic alphabet known as Ogham have been used for divination for 1,600 years. Information about this 'secret' alphabet, sacred groves and the Green Man are provided in this book which accompanies the card deck. For each tree, a divinatory meaning, tradition and lore and also provided along with information on how to use the card deck, how to formulate a suitable question and how to grow in understanding of the cards and life. There is a one card sample reading, a 3 card reading, ‘The Three Worlds’ spread with sample reading, one for male and one for female. There is also a 5 card reading ‘The Heart-wood’ spread and a sample reading and a 7 card ‘Many Leaved’ spread with sample. 'Turning the leaves' is reading the cards and by 'talking to the Green Man' we access ancient wisdom of the natural world. 
Will Worthington is a Druid and provides the deck with most magnificent artwork. The cards are very attractive with the images depicted under Gothic arch. Painted with egg tempera on wood coated with gesso and sanded.
