This is the end of the world as we know - and is a gateway to transformation! As each soul reawakens, all humanity will also Ascend. This is a pack of 78 tarot cards (size: 7 x 12.5cm) and an instruction leaflet in 5 European languages which gives information on each card.
The deck was designed for the end of the Mayan long count calendar in 2012, a symbol for an evolutionary leap, but is a useful deck for today's world. Maybe 2021 when Planet X or Nibiru will draw near our planet Earth will also represent a new era of evolution, both personal and planetary. We need more wisdom for the future to create a better world. We need to seize the day! The knowledge of the world is now at everyone's disposal. We are encouraged to ask questions about our spiritual path and how we can gain a higher level of consciousness.
To assist us with this goal, we are given a 7 card spread and an explanation of how to read it. I think the deck has a strong male energy. The court cards reflect this, being King, Queen, Knight and Knave.
The cards are slim-line that fit nicely in to a small hand for reading and shuffling. The artwork is charcoal grey, dark ochres, muted tones and other very sombre colours. We feel an energy of impending cataclism. Is there a catastrophe or Domesday scenario that motivates our search for the divine light of wisdom? Yes, this is the beginning of the vibrational leap!
The backs of these cards show an artwork of a bright light in a dark star lit sky with two poplar trees and a standing stone on the horizon, this implies the cards should be read upright only. I really like this deck and it's not dated as you might think about the title!
