Fingerprints of the Gods

Circle Network Book Review: Fingerprints of the Gods - A Quest for the Beginning and the End by Graham Hancock published by Arrow, Author Website: www.grahamhancock.com

This outstanding author takes the reader on many wonderful journeys to fascinating places. We find so many coincidences and connections across the world, whether in Central America, Egypt, India, Turkey or Sumer. We are introduced to incredible archaeological possibilities - that our most ancient cultures drew on an even older and wiser source, with knowledge of pi, perfect geometry and mathematics, longitude, and the precession of the equinoxes. We are asked so many amazing questions: Were the Olmecs older than the Mayans and who was responsible for the creation of the long chain calendar?

Where did the Olmec statues come from - they have African features? What is special about the constellation of Orion? What do Varacocha, Quetzalcoatl and Osiris have in common? What is the meaning of the Feathered Serpent? What ancient ships were discovered in Egypt? Who were the people with fish scales? Could the Sphinx be 11,000 years old? Are the Cairo pyramids intended to house a dead body of the Pharaoh? Extraordinary information about the Egyptian pyramids in the last chapter might shed light on the pyramid temples in Central America! These are just some of the great enjoyments awaiting the reader.

I relished this book! I love the mysteries presented here and am excited by the wonders that the author reveals. Review by Wendy Stokes
