The accompanying book is titled ‘Gateway to the Divine Tarot’ and it begins with an extensive storyline; a setting of the creation and potential destruction of our planet and the change to civilisation that is coming. Those who are prepared and survive the Great Change - the ‘remnant’ will rebuild. The kingdoms of air, fire, water and earth must be in health. The Legacy Project is decreed by the Emperor’s Council and all knowledge and achievement is preserved within a capsule. 

 

Then we are introduced to a lengthy and strange personal tale - the deck creator, Ciro Marchetti, a digital imagery designer and creator of The Tarot of Dreams and The Gilded Tarot was contacted by the mysterious wheelchair bound Gianluca Cocmbo de Savoy at the Villa Constantino near Milan. In this majestic building are various halls of tarot images and the Legacy of the Divine Tarot was begun here as a transcendental museum of knowledge and wisdom. 

Each card has a fascinating image, and the title. The Majors have 4 pages of explanatory write-up and the Minors get two pages. There is information on how to read the cards, examples of questions, how to draw cards, interpreting, cleansing, and exercises on the cards. There is a four fold breath example and several spread suggestions: A Daily Card, the Legacy of 3 cards, The Pages of 7 cards, the Knights with 9 cards, the Queen with 5 and the King with 8 cards. There is an appendix, attributions, numbers, planets, zodiac signs, etc. 

In addition to Ciro Marchetti, he is joined in providing meanings for this deck by other tarot experts: Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone, founders of the Tarot School and Readers Studio International Tarot Conference. They are authors of Tarot Tips and The Secret Language of Tarot! James Ricklef is a. Ertified TarotvMaster and author of Tarot Tells the Tale and Tarot: Get the Whole Story. He also created the Tarot of the Masters, and Leisa ReFalo who created Tarot of Color and Kaleidoscope Tarot and the Podcast, the Tarot Connection. 

This is a remarkable concept deck. It is powerful in its message. Delicious imagery!
