The first card I have chosen for this month is from Doreen Virtue's 'Archangel Raphael Healing Oracle Cards'. It is titled 'Forgiveness Heals' and it shows a woman caressed by an angel which is dressed in gold and radiating light from its forehead. It bears the inscription 'Dear God and Archangel Raphael, I am willing to forgive myself and others in exchange for what I really want: peace and health.' It is a reminder that anger storied in the body and mind is harmful. Although something may seem unforgivable, forgiveness does not mean the hurtful action was OK but that you are no longer willing to suffer the pain of resentment. Archangel Raphael will restore your mind and body to peace if you ask now for help in letting go of the hurt. You are advised to write a letter to the person who hurt you and destroy it, thereby ending your own torment.
