Channelled by the Rocky Mountains author, Tess Whitehurst, we peer deeply into the images, created by two illustrators, Melanie Delon and Cecilia G.F. The box has an attractive glint. The figurative images are female, young, slim and pretty, as one would expect from fairyland. Crowns, butterflies, flowers and the moon are suitable motifs. There are some multi-cultural images too. The principle colours are sombre russets, dark blues, browns and greys, so for me, this is an Autumnal card oracle.
There are two methods to connect with the cards, one for the sunrise and one for the full moon. All the information is provided in the accompanying book, including a One-Card Reading and a Three-Card reading. Each card has an image, a number and a title. Inside the book is text that relates to the reading.
We are invited to enter the realm of the Faerie Queen with words from Shakespeare’s plays, especially those that reference magic, alchemy and faerie lore, such as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream – this is the stuff that dreams are made of! The deck is for those who would like a greater connection to the Divine Feminine in her faerie forms – and who have a love of Shakespeare! It will make a beautiful gift! Also by the author:
The Oracle of Portals; Cosmic Dancer Oracle; The Magic of Flowers Oracle; and books: Magical Housekeeping; The Self-Love Superpower; You are Magical.
