The Seven Types of Spirit Guide

Mind, Body & Soul Ezine Book Review: The Seven Types of Spirit Guide - How to Connect and Communicate with Your Cosmic Helpers by Yamile Yemoonyah. Published by Hay House. £12.99

There are full explanations on what a spirit guide is, how to recognise the various types, to see what is wrong and make changes, set high standards, find out what specialist spirits can teach you. There are 7 types explained in this book, i.e., deities, ancestors, ascended masters, nature spirits, animal guides, star beings, and angels. Other explanations are of god, how to align with your higher self, how to avoid egotism, how to serve, to live your life purpose, what are the dangers, are there evil and random spirits, what is cultural appropriation, and what is spiritual bypassing, etcetera. All important points!

There is a method of ‘how to sit in the power’ in 7 steps, and how to communicate with each spirit guide. The 6 different types of psychic abilities (called clairs) are explained. Explanations about your imagination. There is a quiz of 25 questions, and you can identify which is your principle spirit guide. Each of the types are detailed over many pages. This book is ideal for beginners but experienced mediums can gain from it. No previous knowledge is required. You will learn about spirit language, symbols, dreams, and intuitions. No special gifts are needed if you are ready to learn. Don’t be afraid to ask a question and try everything at least once! Take your time, take rests if you need to, take what is useful and leave the rest. How to live your life as a lightworker is the best part, and how to be an activist.

I really liked this book. However I don’t endorse illegal drug taking, and this book promotes ayahuasca. It provides an example of a ceremony, how to prepare and conduct one.

Recommended. Well explained. Useful and mainly useful and original work. From the website: a workbook, a guided meditation, and a quiz.
