Mind Body & Soul Ezine Book Review: 14 Steps to Awaken the Sacred Feminine - Women in the Circle of Mary Magdalene by Joan Norton and Margaret Starbird. Published by Bear & Co. RRP US $14.00 : Can $17.00
This book provides 14 lessons about Mary Magdalene, who she was or might have been, with meditations, ritual, prayers and poems, questing, journaling, and attaining what could be a life quest. It explains how to create your own Mary Magdalene group, for seasonal meetings, for growing in understanding and maturity, to deepen our experiences and ad to our enjoyment of life.
I liked this book very much. The authors are wise guides, they advise us on working with the energy of the Bride, a sacred and put loving energy which heals us and heals others. Whether you wish to start or be part of a women’s group with this emphasis or would like to read the book alone, both are possible.
Joan Norton is a Los Angelis women’s psychotherapist, author, and she is also a Mary Magdalene specialist. Margaret Starbird lives in Washington State, and is a lecturer and author. Her best selling books are: The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, The Goddess in the Gospels, and Mary Magdalene - Bride in Exile.
There is beauty, kindness, and wisdom here! Reviewer: Wendy Stokes https://wendystokes.co.uk
