Amanda Ellis channels Archangel Metatron, the Gate Keeper, with sacred geometry, the elements, colour and inspirational paintings commissioned by Scottish artist Jane Delaford Taylor which are now all in private collections. The oracle is not intended for fortune telling but is designed to empower, comfort, and heal. Amanda Ellis also authored Christ Consciousness Oracle.
Merkaba is used on the backs of the cards to bring purity to each reading. There are several invitation prayers to work with the cards and the spreads. The spreads are: A Message from Metatron, one-card reading; Weekly Spread, 7 cards, As Above So Below, 7 cards; and a Chakra Spread of 12 cards.
Each card carries an image, a number, title and subtitle, a link and key words. In the full colour guidebook, there is a full explanation of each card, all well written and valuable to read. There are no reversals but the reader can compose a reversal reading if they were guided to provide one. The deck creates a connection to this great Archangel. The oracle has good spiritual principles, and overviews recognising the the big picture, Metatron is neither male nor female but he and his are used throughout the deck.
Readings for myself and for others have proved to be valuable, powerful and nourishing.
