Mind Body & Soul Ezine Card Deck Review: The Rose Oracle by Rebecca Campbell, set of 44 cards and Guidebook. Published by Hay House US $26.99 : Can $35.99 : UK £22.99 (March 2022)
“Unlock the mysteries of the rose, connect to the divine feminine, nature, beauty. May Her healing mysteries call you home to your true nature.”
The rose is an ancient symbol of love and perfection. It is known as the Queen of flowers. The cards call us to meet the Mother Rose, connect to the goddess, to beauty, and to nature. Its perfume, soft velvet petals and beauty have provided great joy across the generations and across many countries of the world. The cards help us to reconnect with the garden, the Earth, the divine feminine, with seasons and cycles.
The guidebook provides full 200 words of information on each card, with title, subtitle, and affirmation or quest. Consider the cards a gateway to deeper connection with the rose and its meaning. The box is designed to be an altar. One card pull for a daily reading, other spreads are The Rose Garden 2 Cards, Sub Rosa 4 Cards, Trust the Season 4 Cards, and Rose, Bud,Thorn, Seed, Root 5 Cards.
I think this is a deck for a woman, fairly young and seeking to see through the veil that surrounds her inner vision. The guidebook contains a biography of Rebecca Campbell, who is originally from Australia and is now resident in Glastonbury. The illustrator is Katie-Louise, no other names! The art is a very gentle, misty pale pastel computer graphic with possibly a crayon overlay. Imagine your life is an exotic rose garden as we are not separate but part of the web of life, and of the scented palace of the rose garden. Each card has a title, subtitle, image, 400 words of text and affirmations or a quest. This deck help us to reconnect with the qualities of this flower as the goddess of the garden.
There is a prayer and attunement to Mother Rose in the guidebook and the 45th card is The Rose Oracle Attunement Altar card with a visual and audio ritual on www.roseoracle.com
Become a channel for service and devotion. Ideal as a first oracle card deck. Read for yourself and your friends. Rose medicine! Beautiful! The perfect gift for a summer birthday party.
